Hi, I'm Roo. I guess I've been taking pictures since my dad showed me the magic of black and white photo development in the kitchen when I was a kid, but it's only in the last 10 years or so where I found my true creative passion: portraits.

 

When it comes to portraits, the importance of details cannot be overstated. A great photo should not only capture the subject's appearance, but also evoke a feeling or emotion such that it forces you look deeper.

 

Whether it's the sleek lines of a curvaceous automobile, or the unique intricacies which make up a face, the details and emotions make all the difference and it is these that I try to capture.
